Road Safety: Drive Safe Walk Safe

Creative Wiltshire led an ambitious cross phase animation project working with primary school children, college students and creative professionals. Drive Safe, Walk Safe is a series of short hard-hitting films on a road safety theme.

The DVD, now in distribution, showcases ten short animations. Each film is based on a story told by the primary school children using artwork they produced.  Award winning animators from Evil Twin Artworks subsequently collaborated with a team of students to produce a trilogy of short films using the children’s voices.

 “This was a fantastic opportunity for Wiltshire College Film and TV students to use, share and develop their skills on a real project with a real audience and an important purpose. Many of the students are young drivers themselves and it proved to be quite an eye opener for them. Our team worked hard, they loved working with the primary schools and have stayed faithful to the original stories told. They have made some great work and we are really proud of them”.
